Police in Northern Ireland have issued an urgent appeal for information as concerns grow for the welfare of 35-year-old Sian McClean, who has been reported missing in Belfast.
According to the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI), Sian was reported missing on Monday, August 3, 2026. She was last seen at approximately 11:00 a.m. walking along Cavehill Road in north Belfast.
Officers say they are becoming increasingly concerned for her wellbeing and are asking both Sian and members of the public to come forward with any information that could help locate her.
Sian McClean is described as having blonde hair, which was tied up in a bun when she was last seen. She was wearing a black and grey hoodie, dark-coloured shorts, and was carrying a Nike backpack.
The PSNI is urging anyone who may have seen Sian after she was last spotted or who has information about her current whereabouts to contact police as soon as possible.
Anyone with information is asked to contact officers at Tennent Street Police Station by calling 101, quoting reference number 564 of 03/08/26.
Police continue to appeal directly to Sian to make contact with them or her family to let them know she is safe.
The search remains ongoing, and further updates are expected as the investigation progresses.
