Authorities in Pasco County are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 18-year-old Julian Everett, also known by the nickname “Jit,” who is wanted in connection with a shooting that left one person seriously injured in Hudson, Florida.
According to the Pasco Sheriff’s Office, the shooting occurred at approximately 12:45 a.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2026, in the 13300 block of U.S. Highway 19 in Hudson. Deputies responded to reports of gunfire and discovered one individual suffering from injuries sustained during the incident. The victim received emergency medical treatment, although authorities have not released additional information regarding the person’s condition.
Following an investigation, detectives identified Julian Everett as the suspect and obtained an arrest warrant charging him with attempted aggravated battery causing serious bodily injury. Investigators continue working to determine the full circumstances surrounding the shooting while actively searching for Everett.
The Pasco Sheriff’s Office describes Everett as approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing about 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black durag and a gray hoodie. Authorities believe he may still be in the area or may have traveled elsewhere.
